Reality

This moment tasted more real to me than anything I had ever before tasted. I could feel the sweetness of it's memory, hear the beating of it's living heart. What could I do now, but believe. Believe that out there was someone for me to love just as I loved the shadow of my dreams. I had never felt so imperatively close to insanity or so strangely close to freedom as I did in this magical, heart stopping moment. I am free. Free from the bonds that held me captive in my own heart, free from the dreams that pushed out reality. What is a life, if only spent in dreams? Nothing. Nothing more than a hollow memory of shriveled hopes spent in utter misery.
