Today I have spent most of my day in the most lazy of attitudes. I am planning to start school by the end of this month and as such I am trying to spend my days doing as little as possible to re-energize for the educational down-pour. And so today I spent my day lazily walking the fast paced Internet highways. Basically, I spent most of my day on YouTube. Therefore, I have come to the smallest of conclusions and I suppose that I am not the first nor the smartest person to have said this. But I, in my humble and small view of the world would like to note something.

After spending hours at the computer screen watching silly, insipid videos...things like Jessica Simpson's new music video, and the very talented but time wasting videos of Miley Cyrus's dance off. I have found myself contemplating the current Hollywood trend of divorces and splits.

Now I am not one to really spend most of my time watching reality shows on T.V. and I don't go out and buy U.S. weekly, or any other gossip pushing, body-emphasizing, self-esteem destroying magazines. But I have watched my fair share of Biography episodes. And I have found that many and more actors and actress, being of celebrity fame, and going through a divorce and/or a split, all or most file for "Irreconcilable differences"

Though I am no lawyer and I don't pretend to know what options a person would have as reasons to claim for a divorce. But it seems to me, that more and more "celebrities" are using this as an easy out. I mean how many people can claim "irreconcilable difference"and for that matter, how many times can you claim that? I have seen several actors or actress claim that statement a number of times.

However, don't get me wrong, I am not one to judge rudely. I do believe that sometimes you just can't get along with someone. But my point is, is that so many celebrities are claiming this statement, and I wonder, can it really be that common? Furthermore, are they really "irreconcilable differences" or are these so called stars and celebrities just lacking in moxie and determination to make the marriage work?

I haven't figured it out just yet, (hey I am no Einstein) but you must agree that it at least makes you think...

The stupidity of some people makes me crazy and as Glenn Beck would say "makes blood shoot out of my eyes"
And I have learned about something that does just that. I don't know how popular the new Ludacris song is about Obama, but I watched the video on YouTube the other day and I feel that some things need to be learned or understood in this Country. First off let me just say, Thank you Ludacris for that ridiculous input. Now lets get down to business.

I don't care if you are black or white or red or green. We all live in this country (USA) and not one of us is really better than the rest. It is only the character of a person that really makes you who you are. I feel that it is a blind and a naive way to vote for the next president of these United States because someone is black or white, or even old or young. Is that really the reason we would decided the future of this country?

Now I am not saying that we aren't different, every one is different, but we all have the basic human needs. And we want someone who will do what is in our best interest. We need a man or woman who will do the best job. I do not want someone that wants to be a king, a ruler or a protector. But someone who will represent this Nation to the rest of the world. Someone who will follow the Constitution laid down by our Founding Fathers. The Constitution is not something that needs to be destroyed, it is the protection for us the people. And us the people are the ones that he, the President, is working for. He works for us and does what we would have him do. We do NOT need a celebrity, we need an advocate for the Nation.

So the basis for voting for someone should not be race, age or sex. It should be the basic principles and values of the candidate. That's all we should vote on, period.

Well hello,

This is my first time blogging and I really have no idea what I am doing. But I wanted to let my voice be heard somewhere and so this is where I will start. I love to write! It is my greatest passion. I love writing anything really. Emails, school papers, poems, Facebook messages, I love it all. So here I am writing my thoughts for the Internet world.
First off, let me share a little bit about myself. I am 20 years old and right now I live with my sister and I have lived my whole life in Utah. Born and raised. Except I have exceptionally better taste in hairstyles. I am also deeply passionate about politics and I want to continue learning everything I can about them. I crave Ice cream all the time! I am quiet and shy but also very outspoken. I love movies and want to own every GREAT movie ever made. My movies would probably be the first thing I would save in a disaster. But really.

I am going to school at Utah Valley University and I have no idea what my major is. I am almost positive that I will be an English major, but I have yet to put it down on paper. My best friend in the WHOLE world would have to be my sister Brittni. We are a year and ten months apart and we look like twins. (or so I have heard) Right now she is currently serving a full time mission in Kampala, Uganda and she returns home November 27th. I am so STOKED!

I am number four in a family of six. I have three beautiful older sisters and two handsome younger brothers. Also two amazing brother-in-laws. I have four wonderful nephews and almost two cute nieces, who will be born in October. Which is my birthday too! I was born October 12 1987. In American Fork, Utah. I was born with Hyaline Membrane disease, which caused me to pop a hole in my lung and I had to be flown to Primary children's hospital. I was told that I would always have breathing problems all of my life, but have not had any.

Though I am 20 years old I have also never had a boyfriend. Not for the lack of want or the lack of want from guys, don't get me wrong. I just never found someone I liked enough to make that kind of commitment.

Well that's all for today. I must go get ready because my brother-in-law Jesse and I are going to the local pool with all the kids. Alba gu bra!
